Andrew's First Haircut!

His hair has been growing very quickly, and it's the baby fine blonde hair,that you just want to leave alone, but when it's curling under in the back because it is so long, and when his bangs are in line with his eyebrows, it's time for his FIRST haircut! Michael wanted to buy crayola scissors and let the girl use them! We were both very nervous, Andrew is very quick, but everything went fine and smooth. The girl knew exactly what she was doing!

My 21st!

I have not wrote on here in awhile, but I really have not done anything either, I have just been working. This past weekend was my 21st Birthday! I went out and had a great time. I went with my son and husband to the Columbia Zoo, and spent the day! I enjoyed every minute of it.

I don't need the alcohol or bars that most "normal" people do for their 21st. I had my family with me, and that was all I needed. Michael and Andrew got me a new cell phone (Samsung Rant) and an elephant print pocketbook, and the zoo, but all of this was Mother's Day/Birthday together, since Mother's day was the next day. My parents gave me money, and my sisters had me a charm made with a little boy on it and Andrew's name engraved. I loved every item that was given.So tired after my long day of animals. We got to pet the giraffes!

Andrew's First Easter

Our family had a great Easter. I enjoyed watching Andrew try to hunt for eggs. He could find them, but when he got them, he didn't want to put them in his basket. He wanted to hold on to them, and play. He still isn't walking yet, but hopefully it wont be much longer. He will let go and stand for awhile, he has tried to take a few steps, but fell, and hasn't tried anymore.

Wedding

I am a fairly new newlywed. We were married on Dec. 6. I am ever so thankful to have been blessed in finding my husband. He is truly a great guy. I have to say that I do love and cherish ALL the times that we've had, and the ones to come. I have just recently got my wedding pictures back (I know what a wait). If Marian had not skipped across the country, I'm sure that I could have had them sooner, but wait she didn't even attend my wedding. What a loser she is...LOL!

Driving, ALREADY?

Look at this sweet and little innocent face. Couldn't you just eat that up? To know that my ten month old child is driving before he's walking, what are we going to do with daddy?

Andrew's First Snow!

OK. Andrew got to see snow for the first time about two weeks ago. It did not snow at our new house, but there was about 3 inches at the old one (and there only like 15 mins away). He could have really cared less. We had to go find some snow for him to play in, but he didn't really want to play, it was too cold.

My new home!

Ok, so this probably isn't a big deal to anyone else, but ME, and of course the family. We just got our FIRST house. I love it. I am neighbor's with my Mom, which is soo convenient. Andrew has just learned to look out the window, and say "na-na" or "pa-pa". I will have pictures up later, as you would know, we are still in boxes, and have not found my usb cable to connect to my camera. But, there will be pictures, just as soon as we get out of these boxes. I am so thankful, that we finally got to move, and away from where we used to live. Now, I do have it all....I have my wonderful and handsome husband, a very healthy son that I love more than words can express, a job (although it is not high dollar, it is more than what some have, so I am very thankful), my new home, plenty of vehicles (4 to be exact), and a family that is so supportive, an education that is almost complete, and someone to look up to everytime things get rough or just to think Him for all that He has allowed me to have. Wow, and I am just so thankful that I have a great life setup for me, and this happened with determination, and all that help I could ask for from upstairs.

Ma-Ma!!!

Okay! Andrew said mama yesterday, not for the first time, but that was the first time I heard him say it. I was so excited...You would have thought I had just won the lottery....and indeed I had. I never knew so much love until I finally got to meet that little boy. I love him with all my heart, and yesterday there was just something about him saying mama, the whole room lit up. I stopped and realized that I was the only person in the room with him, and he knew me as his mama! I just thought that was soooo sweet, and it sure did make my day!

Jobs

I have just recently started a new job. It is so much more organized, structured, and by the book than Goody's. At Cato, we know exactly what the policies and procedures are, and that is how it is done!!! Goody's on the other hand, we would swing it from day to day. Yeah, Goody's was a great place to work, and I miss it already, but I did get out and move on. The store is closing, and it is sad to see it come to an end, and all those girls be out of jobs. Don't settle for unemployment!!! Get up, go out, and find you another job. Some have a good reasoning for unemployment, such as school, or little ones being brought into the world, but for those of you that don't....get up, get out, and don't live off the government.....
